Miami, FL.- jueves, 26 de abril del 2012.- (F & F Media Corp.) El ídolo de la bachata urbana Prince Royce fue la máxima estrella en la entrega de los Premios Billboard de la Música Latina, celebrada la noche de este jueves.

El cantautor de 22 años se llevó a casa los trofeos en ocho de las doce categorías en la que competía: Artista del Año; Álbum del Año, por su disco “Prince Royce; Compositor del Año (Geoffrey “Prince Royce” Rojas; Álbum del Año, Digital (“Prince Royce”); Canción Tropical del Año (“Corazón Sin Cara”); Solista Tropical del Año, Canciones; Álbum Tropical del Año (“Prince Royce”); y Solista Tropical del Año, Álbum.

Royce también puso a gozar al público al cantar por primera vez en un show en vivo “Incondicional”, su segundo sencillo del nuevo disco “Phase II”. Durante su actuación, Royce se sirvió de un grupo de mariachi y bachateros para darle una serenata a un hermosa joven parada en un balcón.

La gala se transmitió en vivo a través de la cadena hispana Telemundo, desde el BankUnited Center de la Universidad de Miami.

En su joven carrera, Prince Royce ya ha obtenido Triple Disco de Platino en Estados Unidos, Puerto Rico y Chile con su primer álbum homónimo. Además de ganar un sinnúmero de galardones y premios en los últimos dos años, Royce salió de gira con Enrique Iglesias y Pitbull y grabó colaboraciones con Maná y Daddy Yankee. Recientemente tuvo el honor de cantar en el Festival de Viña del Mar donde obtuvo Antorchas de Plata y Oro y Gaviota de Plata, algo impresionante para un joven con tan corta trayectoria.

El pasado fin de semana, en el Distrito Federal de la Ciudad de México, el artista grabó el videoclip de la canción “Incondicional” bajo la dirección del reconocido productor venezolano Pablo Croce.
